NEW Women’s Circle, Lydney, Gloucestershire
‘Kin-keepers, storytellers and connection seekers’
Aims: Peer support, connection, understanding, learning together and from each other. Our focus is on wellbeing and mental health. Each session there is a different topic to reflect on and share our thoughts, alongside building support networks and friendships.
Topics include but are not limited to- perfectionism, self-doubt, memories, distortions in thinking and reflecting, crafts and creativity, rumination and worry, low mood and hopelessness, intrusive thoughts and much, much more. There will be time at the start of the session to socialise, catch-up and make yourself a hot drink. Future New Year circles will also incorporate creating and crafting sessions to promote mindfulness and relaxation. Circles are non-judgemental, respectful and confidential; what is talked about together remains in the group and this is a rule for us all to follow.
